  10.      INTRODUCTION

  12.           CWTutor is a full-featured yet easy-to-use program for learning 
  13.      and practicing the international Morse code. Beginners can learn Morse
  14.      from scratch, or those already familiar with it can improve their 
  15.      receiving speed and accuracy. CWTutor has a number of features useful 
  16.      to the beginner or the experienced "brass pounder".  Emphasis is placed
  17.      on providing a variety of practice "modes",  allowing either self 
  18.      instruction, practicing with other students, or teacher-led practice 
  19.      sessions and tests. Major features include 1.) letter-learning-group 
  20.      sending and receiving lessons for beginners (includes random words based
  21.      on only that portion of the alphabet learned to date), 2.) computer 
  22.      sending of random letters, random 5-letter code groups, and random words
  23.      (from a list of 8000), 3.) computer sending of text file contents, and 
  24.      4.) computer sending of keyboard-entered text (allows sending even by 
  25.      those not familiar with Morse code); messages can be saved to text files 
  26.      for later use as tests or practice sessions. The speed, tone, and weight
  27.      of the computer-sent code are adjustable (and the settings can be saved).  
  28.      NOTE: CWTutor works best from a hard disk.

  31.      DISTRIBUTION OF CWTUTOR

  33.           CWTutor is copyrighted software that is distributed as shareware.
  34.      This diskette may be freely copied and distributed (all files intact
  35.      and unaltered, and free of charge other than a nominal distribution
  36.      fee) for evaluation purposes only. If you decide to use CWTutor then
  37.      you must register by completing the Register.doc form included on the
  38.      distribution diskette. You will then receive a Registered diskette with
  39.      the latest version. You will also be notified of future upgrades or 
  40.      other offers.
